First thing he does is pee, and then check his email and starts working on whatever he didn’t finish the night before. The last thing he does before he goes to bed is give me kisses :).

East Flatbush all day.
What’s MeLo’s favorite food?
I think it’s between his mom’s ackee and salt fish, his aunts porgy that she brings from Jamaica, and my veggie soup.
How does MeLo want his fans to feel when listening to his music?
He just wants them to feel.
Share some words that MeLo lives by.
“Don’t worry boo” he’s usually talking to me, but I think he’s also saying it to himself.

It’s actually two things: his nail clip and his ear plugs, he always says “my ear is one of my greatest tools” and I see him clipping his nails everyday.
Does MeLo have a secret talent?
Oh but so there’s so many, he’s great at using his feet as hands, cooking five star meals, and juggling! I’m waiting for him to either open a restaurant or join cirque du soleil… or both lol.
What is the main inspiration for MeLo’s music?
I would say his main inspiration is a combination of his experiences and his goals in life, he finds ways to reach them by telling his story through his art.
How do you feel MeLo’s photography and films relate to the music he creates?
Melo’s music is very narrative, so his visuals are always cohesive with the message that he wants to portray, sometimes metaphorically, sometimes a bit more literal.
It’s Friday night, where can we find MeLo?
In the studio or in the kitchen lol.
What is MeLo doing right now?
Being a nerd on his laptops.
